The spirit of supper stardum has entered the church in such a way that people that GOD had blessed with gifts for the perpose of building the kingdom is using that gift for self gain and self glory.One morning while meditating on God it came to me that the bible said (LET (YOUR) LIGHT SO SHINE BEFORE MEN THAT THEY MAY SEE (YOUR) GOOD WORK AND (GLORIFY THE FATHER WHICH IS IN HEVEN)(GOD). God also said (MY GLORY I WILL SHARE WITH NO MAN).Which leads me to understand there is no glory for us in our ministry what ever we do is for the sole perpose of giving God all the glory. If i sing and you sing we need not compete this is not about us it is all about giving God all the glory

It would help me understand your statement better if you gave an example. The scripture also says that "you're gift will make room for you". If you use your talent in a way that brings Glory to God, he then will reward you openly.

hi sis you are right the bible did say that but that is not what i am talking about it is about the spirit of compitition where some of us insted of working working together we want to be the life of the party it must be about us if we are not the head liner we wont do it and not just that we put a price on our ministry the same ministry God has blessed us with i am concern very concern because there is so much to do so many dieing people hurting people hungry people sick people yet still every where i turn there is a concert charging 20 ,25,30 dollars per tickit will a sick person ,hungry person broke person come there they cant even aford to iam also a minister i must say God has been real good in every way i dont charge i go any where at anytime and ihave seen God done great things trough me when people call they sometime ask how much i charge my answer alwayse is you cannot pay for the anointing of GOD on my life the bible said seek first the kingdom of GOD and all things shall be added unto you i take that literally when GOD says all he means all and there is so much more to say but i just want to encorage young men and women in ministry to do what GOD HAVE YOU TO DO FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AND MANKIND AND NOT THE MONEY NOT TO LOOK OR SOUND GOOD BUT TO BRING GLORY TO GOD AND GOD ALONE FOLLOW THE EXAMPLE OF JESUS CHRIST AND NO GOOD THING GOD WILL HOLD BACK FROM YOU I AM A LIVING EXAMPLE THE MORE YOU GIVE GOD THE MORE GOD BLESSES I LOVE TRYING TO OUT GIVE GOD I ALWAYSE LOSSES THAT IS WHY I AM SO BLESSED AND IF GOD DOSE THIS FOR ME HE WILL DO IT FOR ANYONE WHO PUTS HIM FIRST AND THIMSELVES LAST

I can understand what you are saying and it true with that being said I differ some what. I have no issue with God's people being paid top dollar.
Reason being you can do so much more and be much more affective when you have money, the bible said money answered all things. You can deal with all those concerns you have now in your coment, help upcoming artists who have the gift but no funds to share their gift, have a longer reach in the world.
I can go on and on why God need, should have, must have money.
To your core point no it should not be all about us I agree whole hearted. God change us but some of us yet to allow God to deliver us from our former self while allow the devil to find place in us. Not to make excuses for these persons but may it is the status that they have. You may not so long started out and still very energenic like myself. I have talk to many artist who've been in ministry long time who said people just don't like to pay christian artists. Also when you have a manager dealing with your afair then that is two persons who must be paid and a band with 5 members then that is 7 persons to be paid. Like you I believe I will minister any where for free but I would like to be paid because there is so much things I would like and need to do. The dreams God put in me I need billions to complete them. Think about this 500 million sold out to God christians with 1 billion dollars each to work with, fire will be blazing from every corners of this world.
I believe competion is once it is done in brotherly love, it bring out ones best.
What works for you may not work for others , your way will attract people to Christ and also theirs believe it or not.
Do you remeber when the discples came to Christ I believe they said Lord they cast out demons in your name but they don't walk with us
We must not focus to much on what other do because we'll leave room for the devil to come in.
Put every energy you have into what you do and maybe some of them will want to know how you do what you do and repent.

BRO I THANK GOD FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING AND THE LIGHT YOU BROUGHT TO DIS ISSUE THIS TOPIC IS ONE OF THE ISSUE WE ARE DEALING WITH NOW MYSELF AND SOME OTHER MINISTERS AS TO HELP YOUNG PEOPLE WITH GIFTS TO UNDERSTAND ONCE WE OBEY GODS COMAND WE WILL BE BLESSED FOR THE BIBLE SAYS NO GOOD THING WILL GOD WITHHOLD FROM THEM THAT WALK UPRIGHT AND WE UNDERSTANDING THAT WE HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY TO GOD TO BE EXAMPLE JUST AS JESUS DID WHEN ISSUES POP UP THAT MAY SEEM MINAR IF WE THE CHURCH DONT DEAL WITH IT IT WII BE COM AN EPIDEMIC GOD DONT LOOK AT THE THINGS WE DO BUT RATHER OUR MOTIVEAND WE JUST WANT TO ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO ALWAYS MAKE SURE WE ARE MOTIVATED BY GOD ALWAYS NOT PEOPLE ,FAME ,MONEY OR ANY OTHER THING.I WAS ONCE ASK THE QUESTION ,WHY I DON'T OPEN A CHURCH I WILL MAKE A LOT OF MONEY, AND THIS IS JUST ONE OF THE REASON OR EXAMPLEWE SEE WHERE SOME PEOPLE HEART IS THERE ARE MANY MORE BUT ILL STOP THERE .
